My name is Matus Duda and I’m student of MA Photography at Falmouth University. As a traveler, I’ve been photographing landscapes and cityscapes over the past years, but except visually appealing images and documenting places I’ve seen, I haven’t found a significant meaning of my photographs.
I’ve been working as a commercial 360° panoramic photographer for Aviation eLearning since 2012, where I’ve been photographing spherical panoramas of aircraft, which are used in interactive training applications for pilots and cabin crew.
While working for Aviation eLearning, I started to cooperate with non-profit organisation STEP-IN, which provides health care for refugees in Iraq, where I started to document their activities and projects. The project “Iraqi Kurdistan” is also a part of my studies and personal development in photography field, where I can see that photography has an importance of proof and power of making a change for people in need.
